Civil Engineer Manager

Education and Experience
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
- 5+ years of experience in designing and managing a wide variety of site development stormwater projects.
- Professional Engineer registration in WI required
- Professional Engineer registration in IL is a plus
- Professional Land Surveyor registration in WI & IL is a plus
- Experience in utility design, grading plans/drainage, permitting and regulatory coordination is a MUST
- Experience in site development
- Experience in subdivision design
- Knowledge of stormwater management design regulations.
- Proficient with hydrology and hydraulic software including HydroCAD and HEC-RAS and or SWMM
- Proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D, Microstation,
- Experienced with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat

Responsibilities include:
- Estimates and preparation of Professional Services Agreements
- Manage and execute survey projects
- Set up jobs for the field and provide direction for data collection
- Oversee the preparation of final plans
- Provide consultation to partners in engineering, architecture, law, real estate and more
- Representation of projects before regulatory agencies and commissions
- Deliver high-quality client service
Qualifications include:
- Wisconsin Professional Land Surveyor License
- Located in the United States
- Expert in historical land record research
- Expert in boundary determination
- CAD skills required; Carlson Survey experience and Autodesk Civil 3 D preferred
- Ability to manage and perform work on numerous jobs
- Effective verbal and written communications skills
